Happy New Year…ODBD January Release

Our Daily Bread designs

Happy first day of 2014!
Wow…what a way to kick off the new year with an ODBD release!

Three winners will be randomly chosen from the comments left on the designers blogs to receive a $25 Gift Certificate to the ODBD Store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps. You have until January 2, 2013 at 9:00 p.m. EST to make your comments! The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on January 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

Let me show you what I used today.

Do you remember last year when Blue Ribbon Winner came out? Well, now we have all kinds of fillers!!
If you already have that set and dies you’re almost in business! But don’t worry if you don’t, you can get the Canning Jars separately too!

From juicy strawberries and peaches to jelly beans, conversation hearts and candy canes… to beans, pickles, green beans and…. a favorite of mine, sliced jalapeños ! Is your mouth watering yet??!!!

I’m getting hungry just writing this post!

This yummy jar of peaches, Canning Jar Fillers,  was stamped in Colorbox Amber Clay and colored with Copics. A stamp positioner is handy for lining up your filler with the jar! And, of course, I used the custom Canning Jars die.

For the topper, Canning Jar Fillers 2, I stamped Crocheted Background , the topper stamp and string, then hand cut the topper and attached it to the top of the jar.

The colored cardstock is white that I took my Adirondack Peach Bellini ink pad DTP (direct to paper)

I also used the set Peaches, Fancy Foliage, and Recipe Card and Tags dies.
The frame is Timeless Rectangles.

My second card uses the beautiful Lavender set.

Stamped with a little masking, colored with Copics and sponged with Distress inks. The verse is stamped in Dusty Concord and embossed.

The base is Gold Rectangles 1, along with Labels 28, and Decorative Labels 28.

You can also see all the sets and full details on the ODBD blog.

You’re in for a real treat, when you see what my sister sticks created just for you!

Hey Dawn...I'm in love with that Peach creation...I need that (all of the other new sets) for my peach preserves I make every summer. I always give away to family most of it and a card with canned peaches would be fabulous to accompany each jar. Your creativity is amazing.
