Jacksonbelle Tuesday...getting Krafty

Apr27 blk

Our challenge today is to use get "Krafty" and use Kraft cardstock. Keyword JBE103

Be sure to stop by the store and see what Lindsey has on sale!!

I have 2 cards to share today...
I didn't start out to make 2...
but...

My first card is a sneak peek at a new set from Our Daily Bread designs, For the Graduate, being released May 1st! I had the card ALL done, then read what our challenge was!!! DUH... use KRAFT!

All I had in mind was the product feature this week,
October Afternoon cardstock!!

So, I cut my card down and put it on a base of Kraft!

Apr27 For the Grad It's colored with Copics, with airbrushing for the sky. I added some white gel pen flowers and used Marvy wet markers and clear embossing powder for the flowers.Apr27 closeup pen1

Now............this is where it gets fun! Our power had blipped off for a brief second this afternoon. I didn't think too much about it since it came right back on. A little while later I got a *reminder* email from Heather saying she needed my card for tomorrow's post since I was one of the featured designers. *GASP* I forgot!! No problem, I could just send her the one I had done...

BLIP!

The power went
.................off!................
and stayed OFF!!

Isn't it nice that you can still stamp without power?! (provided you have enough light...thankfully the sun came out!)

Since I hadn't really done much with Kraft, I started another card. Hoping the power would come back on before blogs had to go live! LOL!

Apr27 blog blk I love coloring with Prismacolor pencils on Kraft! So, that's exactly what I did!
