Our Daily Bread Blog Hop Release!

Blessed Overflow block

Our last blog hop of the

year!!

Can you believe it?!

If you came here from Sandee's blog then you're in the right place, but if you just happened here, no problem! Just start at the ODBD blog.... all the rules are there. You'll want to go in order because there is a special message from us to you, plus you need that message to email Grace (gnywening@yahoo.com) to be eligible for a free stamp set!

Christmas...such a beautiful time of year (I hope we get snow!) Let's remember the real reason we celebrate this holiday... God through his servant Mary, birthed a son, Jesus Christ that we might be saved and live with Him for eternity! And making my Christmas cards this year was so much fun because of these beautiful sets from Our Daily Bread designs! With each one I can send the perfect message!

Today I'm sharing both new sets,
His Gift and Peace & Joy.

Blessed Overflow front crp I embossed one of the verses from His Gift is silver, layered over this beautiful Dust of Snow SEI designer paper. All the little snowflakes are leftover from the inside, and spritzed with Pearl Glimmer Mist.

Blessing Overflow inside This is a tunnel card. You can see a tutorial here. I embossed the large snowflake from Peace & Joy on Prism Cranberry dark, in silver twice, cut them out and put them together. It's suspended on silver embroidery floss and a bead.

Blessed Overflow hanging The floss is glued down on both sides but not in the fold.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Now, that one might be a little intimidating for the newer stampers, so here is a really quick, yet "looks like you took all day to make" card.

Peace and Joy Snowflakes All I did was emboss the sentiment on Prism Smooth White (Distress ink stays wet enough to emboss), mask it with a sticky note cut in the Spellbinders labels 8 and stamp the snowflakes with Versamark and sprinkle on white embossing powder and heat set. Sponge with Distress inks (Broken China & Faded Jeans), remove the sticky note mask and sponge a little around the edges... emboss with the die... give it a couple of shots of Pearl Glimmer Mist...........and.......Voila! It's ready to slap some ribbon on it and layer it on the card base!

Peace & Joy & Snow glimmer

OooooWeeee, are you in for a treat! I've seen some of what the DT has to show you and let me tell you....IT'S OVER THE TOP FABULOUS!

Before you go, my word is "the",
and you need to hop over to
Grace's blog and see her awesome creations!! WoW!

As always, thanks for stopping!

Dawn
