What a gorgeous Spring we’ve had, the colors are just awesome…everything waking up after a long Winter’s nap!
I have 3 or 4 Redbuds scattered around the yard…I need more! Back 100 years ago or so, this entire bank was lined with Lilacs! Can you imagine how gorgeous that was and how good it smelled!!
I have lots of Grape Hyacinth too, scattered all over.
On my kitchen counter…oooh, smells sooo good!

We had our first llama walk of the year with the 4H club… I really need to start saying ‘lama’ now as we have a couple alpacas ourselves and one in the club! I think the kids had a good time and of course people in town enjoyed it too… taking pictures, petting the animals…
A bus load of boys from a neighboring school was stopped at the light as we were walking by. They all shifted to the right side of the bus, pulling out cell phones, taking pics before the light changed!!
We always stop at the park where we make anything and everything an obstacle! Jumping over, weaving through, going under…

And my card
I combined several challenges on Splitcoast for this one! The sketch and free 4 all…to stamp and dry emboss.
I used the new Fishing Net Background, ODBD, like a trellis, stamped on DP and embossed with the Victoria folder.
For my main image and quote, I used the sets, Crave the Rose and Roses from North Coast Creations. Coloring with Copics then taking my white gel pen and adding highlights.
The Spellbinders I used are Labels 22 and Decorative Labels 22.
And the cute ‘Stamped By’ Ladybug Mini, part of the ODBD May release…18 different ones to choose from!
I know… a long post today, but I had a LOT to share with you!
Have a lovely weekend!
Thanks for stopping!!
Dawn

What fun the walk looked for the llama and the kids! Such a beautiful Victorian card too! Just ordered them both yesterday, so it is nice to see the background used for more than ship cards! LOL. Thanks for sharing the walk and the beautiful card! Hugs, Donna
Gorgeous card. Love the design paper.
And what great photos.
Dawn, these spring pictures bring back my memories of growing up in West Virginia. Gorgeous, Gorgeous, Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing them.
Your card is really gorgeous - love the texture. I also enjoyed all your pictures. We are having a cold and rainy Spring -- looking for better weather soon.
