It’s my pleasure to host the Sassy Challenge this week… Monochromatic! Join along using a Sassy Cheryl’s image and you could win 2 FREE Sassy images!
This is from the Oldies but Goodies section, Cupcake Fun. You get 3 digis in this set!
I used Copics and white gel pen to color and Peony Pink Flower Soft for the icing on the cupcake. It’s more PINK in real life, but the photo looks red. I also added Polar White for the hat fluff and Glitter Frosting for the candle flame and a little sparkle on the icing.
I love the texture and dimension the Flower Soft adds! My Spellbinders are Labels 1, Decorative Labels 1, Scalloped Labels 1, and Grand Labels 1.

This is adorable, Dawn! The flower soft is perfect and really adds fun dimension. Thanks for the challenge this week.
Dawn this is really lovely and you have fitted the challenge wonderfully.Thank you for your comments on my cards xx
Now I know why you like "monochromatic" themes...'cuz you know how to really "rock" them!!! This is gorgeous, Miz Dawn!! I love the layers and layers...with all the different edging! And your coloring is brilliant!! That flower soft for the frosting is perfect!! Oh...and tell me about collections of Copics...I have them all...and I have 2 or 3 of some colors! aacck! But...some of my skin and hair colors get gummy...so I thought I'd give the Shin Han a try...just got 6 of them. They have a tendency to bleed a bit...but they really do apply beautifully! I think I need to replace some of my Copic tips!! It's been 2 years...and it's probably about time! hehe! Have a beautiful day, sugar!! hugs. Pat
I can see why you chose Monochromatic since this card is perfect for that. Love the "Flower Soft" on the cupcake and hat to give it a 3D effect. Also the die cuts are perfect.
Oh..I have this stamp, and just love what you've done with it. All those frame layers really look awesome, and the Monochromatic looks fabulous.
xo
The icing on the cake is super yummy! I'll take a dozen. :)
It's an adorable, beautiful card!
Dawn, I love all of your different layers on this beautifully colored birthday Bear. I love how "you" pulled off the monochromatically correct card because I didn't do so well, sorry :) Loved the challenge though, you always choose awesome themes.
