taggifttin blk

Hello everyone! If you arrived here from Sandee’s Blog, you are in the right place! If not, you might want to start at the Our Daily Bread designs blog where all the details are given, and the entire list of designers are given with links. If for any reason any links are broken or you get lost along the way, simply return there to find the link to the next stop.

I’m excited about these new sets and I think you will be too! Three fantastic Christmas Tag sets, a custom die cut to perfectly cut them out, and two stunning Christmas Background Stamps too!!! The breadsticks have made some AWEsome projects!! WoW!

To add to the excitement, there will be FOUR FANTASTIC PRIZES this month: Three Prizes of your choice of one free tag set and matching die cut, and ONE GRAND PRIZE of the NOVEMBER BREAD BASKET BUNDLE!!! So be sure to complete the hop, and return to the ODBD Blog Hop Post to leave a comment, telling us you:

1. Completed the hop
2. Left comments for each designer (name any you are unable to comment on)
3. Answer the question posted on the ODBD Blog.

The Hop will run from 8am Eastern Nov 1 until 8pm Eastern Nov. 2. The winners will be randomly selected from the commenters that complete the hop and answer the question on the ODBD Blog. Winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on Nov. 3.

How FUN is that!

Now, here’s my project…

Our daughter-in-law’s birthday is also on Christmas day, so I always try to make her “card” a little less “Christmassy”. I found this gift tin in the reduced aisle at Hobby Lobby ($1.49) and decided to alter it for her. (so, Dianna, if you’re reading this…ACT surprised!)

TagGiftTin

I used Mistletoe Tag Set, colored with Copics. I sewed silk ribbon where the ribbon weaves through and silver seed beads are sewn on with silver thread.

TagGiftTin clsup

The sentiment is from Poinsettia Tag Set. I used the Tag Die again to cut the extra piece to extend the tag a little so it fit the tin front a little better.

It’s stamped in Distress Forest Moss and sponged with the same. That’s Basic Grey Green At Heart. I also used the Bow Easy for my bow.

TagGiftTin open

Now on to Connie’s blog… be prepared to be amazed!

Thanks for stopping!

So precious! What a sweet MIL, you are. . .this is just beautiful and I'm sure will be treasured. You've definitely met the challenge for a December birthday. . .that keeps it separate from, yet still identified with, Christmas. I love how you've combined the pink and spring papers with the seasonal features. Jan E.

Everytime I see this pink and green color combo, it is a fond memory of the colors my grandmother had in her home. Love the stitching of the ribbon with the added pearls, and the tip of extending the size of the tag itself is fantastic!
