Our Daily Bread September Release Blog Hop

1-296 blk

If you got here from Sandee's blog
then you're spot on...
but don't worry if you just happened along!
You can start  at  the
ODBD blog
for the whole line-up and prize info!!!

Once again this month, we are keeping the rules for the blog hop really simple! There are no secret words to collect, no emails to send... just enjoy the hop!
Here is what you have to do to be eligible to win one of the prizes:
* Hop to each blog, leave a comment on each one.
* Return to ODBD blog and leave a comment there
telling us that you completed the hop and left
  everyone comments.
* If for any reason you cannot leave a comment, please
give us the name/s of the designers you were unable
to leave comments for...and you'll still be qualified
  for the drawing.

Each designer will have a link to the next person (as well as the one before them so you know you are on the right track). If for any reason one of the links is broken, simply go back to ODBD blog to get the next name and link!

Now, here's my card

1-296 This is Brocade Borders, Brocade Background & Light. (oops! Light was released last month! See what happens when I get in a hurry!! Some of the other girls will have this month's set from the Full of Grace collection!) I stamped the background with Black Soot Distress ink on white cs, embossed with clear powder then sponged Barn Door Distress ink over it. The next layer, I stamped the background with Barn Door on white cs then sponged just a little around the edges.
The Brocade Border is also embossed then colored with a Copic. I trimmed around the Labels One on each piece, that way I could cut a black layer using the same size die and have about a 1/8in mat. Barn Door was also sponged around the edges.
It's also the Sketch Challenge today on
Splitcoast.
1-296 clsup
Here's another...
I had this idea while working last week
at Our Daily Bread designs.
NeverThirst step Never Thirst and lots of sunflowers from last month, Harvest Blessings for this side step card.
NeverThirst steps
NeverThirst steps side
Now, hop on over to Kathy's blog...
poor girl, as of this writing she hadn't received her happy mail yet!
Takes a while to get across the pond to Down Under!
Thanks for stopping!
