Porcelain Cameo

IC236 blk

It's amazing how just a little dry embossing and some die cutting can make a card go WOW!

IC236 closeup This image is from Our Daily Bread designs, The Lord Has Risen. I started out by embossing it in silver, water colored with reinkers, then overstamped it black to make it POP and define it. Then I sponged distress ink around it.

This card was done for the Inspiration Challenge, Roses and Teacups, on Splitcoast. As soon as I saw this Purple Pansy Cameo I knew what I'd do!

IC236 Porcelain Cameo This heavyweight silver cardstock is from Hollo's and looks fabulous embossed (textile folder)! It's great for the dies too!! I used the Lattice Pendant die to put behind my image and some of the "negative" pieces (the leftovers stuck in the die after cutting!) I just glued on top. Believe it or not...this was a very quick card to make... 15 min maybe! The longest part was gluing the little pieces! LOL!

Enjoy your Saturday!!

Thanks for stopping!
