A Sketch...Sheep, a Bear & Tools...oh my!

SC275 blk

For the Sketch Challenge on Splitcoast... two totally different looks!

SC275 Good Friends I flipped the sketch and used this darling digi image, Bear Pulling Toy Lambs, from Sassy Cheryl's. It's colored with Copics, clear embossed for easy cutting, the pinwheel and sheep are popped up on dimensionals.

Then, I never seem to have enough "guy" cards on hand. So I used Happy Father's Day, by Our Daily Bread designs and the Weekly Technique on Splitcoast, Acrylic Distress.

SC275 Acrylic Distress Tools SC275 blkColored with Copics. The embossed pieces are painted with Ranger Paint Dabbers, Cloudy Blue, Terra Cotta, and Hazelnut, sanded then rubbed with Black Soot distress ink.

Have a wonderful day where ever you might be!

thanks for stopping!

Hi Dawn~

Great Cards! I love the little bear pulling his toy sheep! It is precious! I love all of the different patterned paper put together. A comfy quilt effect!

The guy's card is great. I love the different colors on the panel. The tools must have been a challenge to color...but not for DAWN...she can color anything! *wink* You can color them, I don't even know what they are for! Do you? lol

Fabulous! That bear pulling the sheep is SO cute & you make her look like a million bucks! What a GENIUS idea to clear emboss the images for easy cutting (and it just looks so cool!) And the tools card. WOWzers! I am so excited to see paint take it's place in the spotlight. Now I need more colours LOL. Did you see Beate's SCS tut? Yours looks so stunning & how perfect for a guy card! Especially the wood look you got. Ahhhhhh now you got my brain running a mile a minute. Thanks for feeding my mojo!
