The Lord God Made Them All...ODBD Release!

Happy New Year Everyone!

NA Frame Jan1 blk

Wow! 2010! And we're kicking if off with the release of 3 sets!
If you arrived here from
Lorelie's blog
, then you're in the right place. But no worries if you just happened along! You can start at the ODBD blog for the entire list.

All you have to do to be eligible to win is complete the hop, leaving comments on each blog and returning to the ODBD Blog and leaving your answer to the question there by Monday, Jan. 4 at 8PM EST. The question will be posted on the ODBD blog, but here's a tip... as you are hopping along, take note of your favorite set and what you like best about them!

There are PRIZES!!! Kelley has generously offered to give away not one, not two, but THREE PRIZES ! So, Three winners will be chosen, and they can each choose one set of their choice!!! How cool is that!!!

Now, on to my project...
and be sure to read to the very end of my post...
there is more news!!

NA Frame1Noah's Ark, here in a frame I picked up at my favorite bargain store, GW Boutique.

The image and sentiment are both embossed, I thought that gave it a more finished look. It's colored with Copics and highlights with a white gel pen. The background circle layer is sponged with Ranger Distress Inks.

NA Frame Jan1 sponged layer I started by laying down sticky notes to separate the sky and water and sponged the water using Broken China and Faded Jeans. Then, using my cloud template, I sponged with Broken China. I used the edge of a scrap oval piece of cardstock to sponge off of for the rainbow using Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold, Shabby Shutters and Milled Lavender...I know, not all the colors of the rainbow but my circle was only so big! lol
Then I added the swirly water with a
Cuttlebug folder.

NA Frame closeup The ark is popped up on extra thick foam dimensionals. The background paper is yummy SEI Juliette First Kiss (it was so hard to use it because it has the most beautiful embossed flowers on the other side! But the plaid matched my frame perfectly...such is paper crafting...ya just gotta do it sometimes!! lol
Prism's Crabapple dark and Suede Brown light were also the perfect match!

stamps: Noah's Ark
paper: prism smooth white, crabapple dk, suede brown lt, sei juliette first kiss
ink: versamark, memento tuxedo black, ranger distress aged mahogany, broken china, faded jeans, worn lipstick, dried marigold, shabby shutters, milled lavender, vintage photo
other: clear embossing powder, copics, spellbinders circles, scallop oval, labels 8, cuttlebug embossing folders, foam dimensionals, purchased picture frame, daubers

We are so excited to announce that Our Daily Bread designs has accepted a position as a Member Company on Splitcoaststampers.
Please visit the ODBD Welcome Forum and leave a comment by January 10! You will be entered into a drawing to win a $50.00 Gift Certificate to the ODBD Store!

We have a many things planned including Challenges and a special Prayer Request area!

Did someone say challenges? We will be having a weekly challenge! The weekly challenge will be posted on the SCS Forum as well as the ODBD Blog. That means more prizes and awards, and fun for all!!! ... stay tuned to the Our Daily Bread designs blog and the SCS Forum for further details. For now... just be sure to be back on Jan 9 when our first Challenge of the New Year will kick off!

Hope to chat with you over on the ODBD Forum!
