Friends At All Times Pocket

Here I used the set Friendship along with Sing to the Lord. I love this type of pocket card called Criss-Cross. You can read how to do it here.

These Scriptures, sentiments and flourishes will compliment so many of the fabulous images already available. I just love this bird!!
For the extra flourishes, I only inked up those parts and stamped in the corners of the insert and envelope!

Friends At All Times Pocket1

For the pocket back and insert, I traced a Top Note template and added an extra bit to the edges (of the back) as it doesn’t quite make it to the edges. Then pierced them with a piercing tool.

FriendsBirdCloseup Colored with Copics, masked and airbrushed. I loved how the background turned out. So much so, that I didn’t want to waste it so I included another layer! It was like putting a puzzle together (you can see where I’d cut around for his tail) …lol. (that dark layer is actually brown, but it doesn’t look like it here!)

I used a white gel pen to highlight around the eye and eyeball.

stamps: Friendship, Sing to the Lord-Our Daily Bread designs  ink: adirondack espresso, hazlenut-Ranger paper: georgia pacific, latte stack-DCWV, unknown vanilla  other: Copics, ABS, Martha Stewart border punch, Spellbinders ovals, Anna Griffin ribbon, foam dimensionals, piercing tool
