Several of the "grown" kids stopped by, the phone seemed to never quit ringing, the dogs wanted out...in....out...in.... and of course I had to make something for dinner!
Ahhhh, so, now I'm ready for a cup of tea and a little relaxing!
Ok, so here is the card I did today. It uses "new to me" stamps, and even a sneak peek at one coming the 28th from CHF. (I know, I'm not on the DT anymore...but I really liked these stamps!!)
I stamped "Fly Fishing" on glossy, colored it with Copic markers, went over the fisherman and fish with my Versamarker then a coat of clear EP.
I stamped "Ground Cover" (the sneak peek) in the lower left corner and colored it with Copics. I tore some scratch paper to sort of mask the lower left corner and the area behind the fisherman, then using my brayer, rolled Aqua first over the fisherman (being embossed it resisted the ink) then rolled Denim over that. Then I spritzed Simple Green over the brayered part and blotted it dry. What a cool look for the water.
My brayer went a little tooooo far up in the upper left corner, so I stamped more Ground Cover there and around the fisherman coloring again with Copics. I finished it off by sponging Aqua in the remaining space.
The sentiment is from Vintage Butterflies and I made the "lure" with wire, some frayed ribbon, a couple feathers and a straight pin with the point cut off....and real fishing line!
Super cool masculine card!

A gorgeous card Dawn, I know what you mean about the stamping. I went to my stamping room last night to watecolor, there was such a mess I knew I'd never be able to relax and enjoy it, so I ended up straightening up. Hopefully today I'll be able to get that time in . . . LOL!
This card looks FABULOUS Dawn!
Wow! That water is unbelievable! You sure know how to make a scene! ;)
Oh my goodness! This is just too fabulous! LOVE the water!
It's terrific Dawn! I'm reading your post and thinking all day? It's only 9 AM out there...oops, then I realized that Wednesday was CC day. I just did my sketch challenge last night-thinking that was a little late-not a whole day late. I guess I am two challenges behind this week!
WOW, girl, you sound like super woman!!! I think you need a little vacation to Texas...that will fix you right up!!! Oh, I absolutely love your card, too!!!
