Sakura Chicks Challenge

I think I reach for some sort of Sakura pen more often than not...whether it be a white, stardust---oooh, sparklay!.. the glue pen or the glaze ones. I admit I haven't used the glaze ones so much, only because they sit just out of my reach...........DUH..............MOOOOOOOOOVE them closer Dawn! (I had to say it before one of you did! LOL)

Be sure to see how the other girls used their pens. Just click on their names..oooh...ahhh...it's magic! Julia ~ Carole ~ Kim ~ Michele
Prepare to be WoWed!!

Here's the card I did using my white and stardust pens.

I colored the image from the new "Mountains" set that releases tomorrow, Tuesday the 18th, with Copic markers. Then I put in snowy highlights with the Sakura pens.

I tried all sorts of colored cardstock to mat my image, but none of them looked "right" to me, so I just used white and colored it with the same Copic marker used on the water in the image! Then it needed a little defining, so I lightly went around the edge with a black marker and did the faux stitching on the mat and sentitment (from Beacon of Hope) using the white gel pen again.

Now, the rest of the day for me...I have Leah (my 3yr old grand daughter) for a while this morning. Then later this afternoon, one of my favorite places to go.......................NOT!!!... the dentist, ugh!

Have a wonderful Monday! (we're getting more snow!! it's beautiful outside!!)
