New To Me Set

Ok..so this card took some time, but I love how it turned out! Kim Hughes has had this set, Bloomin' Beautiful, out for a while...I finally broke down and got it. WHY did I wait! sheesh!

Anyhoo...I needed a birthday card so figured why not incorporate a couple SCS challenges AND the new to me set! This is the Color and Technique challenge. The technique using pencils and twinkling h2o's. I used Prismacolor pencils, blending them with baby oil (yes, it works just like OMS).

Cornish Heritage Stamps used:
Bloomin' Beautiful-Kim Hughes
Birthday Centers-Mona Lisa
Scratched Grid Backgrounder

Paper:
Geogia Pacific white
Basic Grey-Lily Kate

Ink:
Stazon Jet Black
Adirondack Citrus, Latte, Shell Pink, Espresso, Pitch Black

Other Schtuff:
Prismacolor Pencils
Baby Oil
Blending Stumps
Twinkling H2O's
Waterbrush
Spellbinders Nestabilities-ellenhutson.com
Martha Stewart Punches-EK Success
Dimensionals
Super Fine Tip Artist Pen (added lines around green leaves)
Inkssentials White Gel Pen-Ranger
American Craft Velvet Ribbon

Now, I guess I should go make some dinner...it's chilly here today...soup sounds good!

Thanks for stopping!
