Something Fun for Me

After making French toast for the fam this morning(mmm it was good too!), I went upstairs to mess with this bucket. I had already done a blue one with a Backgrounder, but wanted to try more of a 'scene' look on this one.

I think it turned out pretty cute. The bucket (from Wal Mart $7.97, already this color) has 3 sections on one half, the other half is open. I traced the bottom of the bucket onto a piece of felt, cut it in half...one piece for the open section, the other piece cut in thirds fits in the 3 sections. To section off the open part I cut some thick foam and wedged it in. It's snug enough to keep my pencils from shifting A combination of Nature's Silhouettes, Silhouette Blooms I&II, Tall Weeds, and Small Pleasures stamped with Jet Black Stazon.

Dawn - what a fab bucket. I always have trouble keeping the stamp from blurring on a shiny surface like this. Why do your prismas look so perfect when mine look like raggedy little stumps. :)

Oh my goodness! Dawn this is gorgeous. You've done an amazing job with the scene and you've placed it in a perfect setting for the picture. LOVE this. (Did you also paint the bucket?)
