3:10 to Yuma

I belong to a wacky group of 8 girls on SCS that do a challenge for each Monday. Today we were supposed to use a photo on our project... I chose to do this one of my father, second from the right, that I scanned and printed.

I then colored only their clothes with copic markers and daubered distress inks around the edges.

The 'title' is computer generated. This is also a sneak peek of Cardmaker's Shapes which I stamped in Adirondack Latte over the title, cut out, doodled and sponged the edges. It is popped on dimensionals.

The card base is DCWV paper stamped with Montana Cracked Earth in Adirondack Latte.

You can see more pics and read a little history on my Picture Trail album.

  • stamps: Montana Cracked Earth, Cardmaker's Shapes from Cornish Heritage Farms
  • ink: Ranger Distress Old Paper, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain Adirondack Latte also available from CHF
  • paper: DCWV, Georgia Pacific white
  • distressing tool, dimensionals, fine artist pen, copic markers http://www.ellenhutson.com/

Dawn - What a wonderful tribute to your father. I love the way you added subtle colour to the scanned and printed photograph with your copics. The backgrounder you selected was perfect!
