Hi and welcome to the CardMaker Blog team and The Greeting Farm blog hop! You should have arrived here from Lisa’s blog, but no fear if you just happened along…the entire hop list is on the CardMaker post. Be sure to read all the way to end of my post for info on a fantastic give-away!
Here are the 2 sets I chose for my post today, so versatile!
I stamped the fox, masked it and stamped the stump. I colored the images with Copics and a white paint marker. I used my MISTI and overstamped the images again to make them pop. I masked the images then air-brushed the background. I also added a little white acrylic paint with my finger for some puffy clouds.
With fine tip markers, I sketched in some grass and flowers.
My second sample is one for a quick, “I need a card NOW” type card. LOL
I masked off where the embossing folder would be, and sponged with inks, then embossed with the folder.
Now it’s time to hop along to Pamela’s blog.
Don’t forget to stop by The Greeting Farm’s blog, they’ll be giving away a $50 gift certificate!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Dawn

Sweet little fox! But what I really like is how you embossed the sponged area on your second card. I am definitely going to have to give that technique a try.

Super cute cards, Dawn! I especially like your coloring job.
Love how you created the scene and matched the ribbon with all the colors in the first card and the technique on the 2nd is inspiring. Love them both!
Beautiful colors in both of these, oooh.
Oh my gosh, I'm dying over the fox card! I really love the cloud effects that you did in the background, it's gorgeous! And you can't go wrong using a GF stamp, especially if it features a fox....cuteness overload!!!

I love seeing that cute little fox used but colored pretty different then mine. I was having a hard time deciding on colors so to see the contrast is fun.
I love the scene! And the clouds are awesome
The fox and sentiments are so darn cute!!! What a lovely way to showcase them :)
Your coloring is WOW! It really is what makes the first card come to life! What a fun technique that makes your second card stand out. It is one of those that can look like you took much longer than you really did =)
