Sharing some sneak peeks of some new ODBD goodies!! And a snow phenomenon for our area!

Now, for that phenomenon. Have you heard of “Snow Rollers”? I hadn’t until this past Monday!
You've got to have four or five ingredients, and they have to come together at the same time. First, the ground must be covered by a layer of ice, then have wet, loose snow on top, with a temperature near freezing. Next, winds need to be strong enough to get the snow rolling, but not too strong that they dismantle the weak inner layers of the roller. You have to have winds of maybe 20, 25 miles per hour.
Yesterday my son and I ventured out into field across the road (in the RZR)…. we waited until it warmed up to 1*! Here are some of the pics we got.

How amazing is that! Wouldn’t it have been neat to have been able to watch these form??!! But I wasn’t up at 2am when the BLAST of wind hit….awake, yes, but not up!

Then those snow rollers. Amazing and yes I would have loved to see them form. Wow Mother Nature is truly remarkable.
