Fall Is In The Air!

Beautiful days, cool, crisp evenings… the leaves are starting the first hint of color! I LOVE Fall!!!

This is a peek at some new things coming from ODBD tomorrow!! And… the Technique challenge on Splitcoast today.

Autumn Blessing and Leaf Background, both embossed with white ep on Kraft. To see the technique, click ---->Faux Whitewash.

After embossing, I colored the sentiment leaves with Copics.

It’s That Time of Year for… Sweaters….and Black Cats

The girls at Flower Soft/Katy Sue Designs are showing different ways the sprinkles can be used this week.

I colored up this cute digi from Sassy Cheryl’s, Bandit's Mischievous Smile , with Copics then used Ultra Fine Black for the fur. The sentiment is from Whipper Snapper, Happy Haunting. DP is DCWV Amber Autumn, dies are Spellbinders Marvelous Squares.

Another Look at the ODBD September Release

Today we are taking a look back at 
Our Daily Bread designs 
September Release.

For my sample today, I used Holly Wreath and from the exclusive ODBD dies collection, Decorative Corners Dies

This is a Modified Tri-Shutter card, you can find the tutorial here. (mine is A2 size)
I stamped the Holly Wreath in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics, then I used a Marvy embossable marker for the berries and clear embossing powder before heat setting. The sentiment is edged with a gold leafing pen.

I tucked the Decorative Corners on the back flaps

DP is Basic Grey Indian Summer

C’mon…you know you’ve done this, put 2,3,4 pieces of bubble gum in your mouth…chewed and chewed till you got it just right….. then blew the biggest bubble EVAH!!! Look…. LOOK… waving your hand trying to get your friends attention!!! LOL!

I wanted her big, to take up the entire card!

Colored with Copics, some sponging and some doodles…that’s it! The sentiment is a random one I’ve had forever…perfect, right?!

North Coast Creations September Release!

Welcome to the North Coast Creations September New Releases! For this card I used a sentiment from Old Fashioned Santa, ODBD Custom Window die, and ODBD Custom Fancy Foliage die, coloring the foliage with ink pads and Copics. The sky is sponged with inks.

One More for the Stash!

The Flower Soft girls are featuring our favorites this week! I love these Theater Card Downloads, but you don’t have to make it a ‘theater’ every time! This card was so quick and easy to make just using pieces from the Winter Fox download.

The images match different Spellbinders, but I chose to use circles for this card, outlined with a black Copic, then I added Polar White and Vintage Christmas. This is also the Sketch Challenge on Splitcoast this week.

O Little Town…

I used the sketch today on Splitcoast to add
this card to my Christmas stash!
This is O Little Town of Bethlehem,
part of the September
release from ODBD.

A quick card to make too! I stamped the image 3 times in Memento Rich Cocoa, sponged the clouds with my homemade cloud template in Distress Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky, Mustard Seed for the star, Antique Linen and Dried Marigold for the town and horizon.

Then I just cut my pieces, layered and slapped this puppy together!

Oh, and….all the using white cardstock! Yup… even the layers were once white! I just used my Distress ink pads around the edges, adding Frayed Burlap for the brown layer.

If I get a couple done each week… by December maybe I won’t have that mad rush!! Hmmm

Here is what I used today

These Custom ODBD dies, Fancy Ornaments are just beautiful! I used mirror paper for this long card. The sentiment is embossed with silver.

The embossing folder is Holly Ribbons.

…and my second card…

Little Drummer Boy is just darling!
He reminds me of a ‘Precious Moments’.

I decided to paper piece this one, using Pink Paislee DP, then colored in the patches and drum with Copics. I used Fancy Labels stamped in Frayed Burlap and the same DP. Labels 17, Oval and Double Ended Tags sponged with the same ink.
The base is Decorative Labels 8.

Trust me… you’ll be singing this song for days! LOL
