A Krafty Sassy Challenge

May17 blk
Time for another Sassy Challenge! This week from Sassy Jeni, it’s coloring on Kraft! I really enjoy this technique, it gives such a different look. Play along using a Sassy Cheryl’s image and you could win a $5 gift certificate! Details are on the blog.
I don’t know about you,
but I need a boatload of grad cards this year!
May17 clsup
This is Little Boy Graduate. He’s colored with Prismacolor pencils blended with Gamsol and blending stumps. I used a Sakura white gel pen on his shoes, eyes and cap. The clouds were done using a homemade template, white and blue ink. You can see how to do them here.
May17
I used Spellbinders Labels 21 (on my Grand Calibur), cutting around the edge of the embossed part on the Kraft, then using the same (largest die) size to cut my card base having the top edge of the die just above the fold so it doesn’t cut, allowing it to open as a top fold.

For more Sassy inspiration,
see what the other girls have done!
thanks for stopping!
Dawn

You're right, it does give the cards a different look by coloring on the Kraft paper. I really do love it! It's kind of a 'vintage' look and it certainly makes the colors POP!
Oh, and can you come to my house and help me paint 'skies'?
Stunning as always, Dawn!

What a cutie? That robe is awesome. Black intimidates me. That Spellbinder Die looks like it was designed specifically for this digi. Have a great weekend Dawn.
