With temps and humidity high, the kids did a fantastic job showing that they've paid attention and strutted their stuff in showmanship and obstacle! Thanks to Becky Raber for judging for us!! (I'll be adding pics to my Picturetrail once I collect more from others that were snapping shots fast and furious!)
We also had the 2010 Clark County Llama/Alpaca Ambassador, Lizz, grace us with her presence. Watch for Champaign Co to have a Llama Ambassador next year!
Jared and Willy
Jessica and Lady
Wade and Becky
Junior Showmanship
The obstacles were pretty basic and ones that the kids/llamas had all done before....EXCEPT for a new one...BUBBLES! Some of the llamas were sure that those floating spheres would devour them if they came anywhere close to them!!
Jessica and Lady
For SOME reason, the boys congregated around Lizz....was it the crown?? hmmmmmm....she was pretty! LOL
Jared, Senior Showmanship and Senior Champion
Ryan Junior Showmanship and Junior Champion
Here are couple I added from the Springfield News and Sun online coverage of our fair.
Ahhhh........we're DONE for another year!!
Now, I'm off to Cincy
for Stampaway!! Wooohoooo!!!
thanks for stopping!

I find these young people so amazing, thank you for sharing your fair with us.
I'm going to ask you a very "blond" question. Are there really farmers who raise lamas and what do you do with them. You don't eat lamas do you?
I WANT TO THANK DAWN AND LLOYD FOR THEIR KINDNESS IN SHARING THEIR LLAMAS WITH THE KIDS TO ENJOY AND EXPERIENCE IN 4-H. WELL I ALSO ENJOY THE LLAMAS, THEY ARE AWESOME! UNTIL NEXT YEAR.... THANKS AGAIN ROSS'S MOM (CHERI)
Dawn - I always enjoy seeing pictures of your llamas and the 4-H kids! Thanks so much for sharing this part of your life with us.
