Welcome to the October Angels Landing
Blog Hop.
If you missed the beginning, head over to Judi's digi-stamps blog
and follow the links.
Today the Design Team is introducing two new digital image sets for October, Seasons Tweetings and Penguin Chicks.
Seasons Tweetings, Birdhouse-Large-Framed, is colored with Copics, (and lots of cutting with my craft knife!), layered on DCWV patterned paper. The red layer is colored with a Copic to match the ribbon.
I used Glitter Foam paint (similar to liquid appliqué) for a snowy look, Liquid Pearls on the berries and Glossy Accents on the ornaments.
This is an easel card. Basically what you do is make your card then cut a piece of cardstock the exact same size, fold it in half then fold the top in half again. This is the side that will attach to the back of your card back.
You can put a button, brad or any other “stop” for your card front to rest against when it’s displayed, in the center of the base. I just used an ornament with Glossy Accents on it and several layers of cardstock dots glued together to pop it up.
Okay! Are you ready to Hop some more?!! You don’t want to miss a one because 3 of them have Blog Candy! From here you can head over to Amber Hight. (this is too funny, I have a daughter named Amber…and Amber Hight has a mom named Dawn!)
Enjoy the Hop
and
Thanks for stopping!
Dawn

I can't believe you actually cut out this intricate image. Amazing! What a clever idea to use the little ornament image as your "stop." And that Glitter Foam paint made the best snow accents.
This is amazing!
Breathtaking! Love the stickles trick. I have been neglecting mine for ages. I never knew it could look so good!
