Shearing Llamas While A Storm Brews....and Hits!

One of my 4H moms called at 8:10 this morning..."the kids are ready, we're heading out the door!" UGH...so early? I know, it's good to get an early start...
well, at least I'd had my coffee!

So, I got dressed and headed out. Not long after they got here we heard thunder rumbling to the north...closer...closer...darker and darker. Ethan happened to look outside and said, "WoW! Come look at these clouds!" Out we ran, then I ran in the house and grabbed my camera! I'm sure lots of other people were busy snapping shots too! (note, I have a couple that my son took from his view, just across the fence!)

Unfortunately you just can't get the depth of how it looked! It was so cool!! And then, OH BUDDY, did it cut loose!! Wow!! Out in the barn with a metal roof...ooooweeeee! I love a good thunderstorm, especially out in the barn!
Good part? Well, we got their 2 llamas done and I did one more for good measure! LOL.. and I think I miscounted, I only have 7 more to do!! WooooHoooo, there is light at the end of the tunnel!!
Enjoy your day!
