Corner Treatments

Today on Splitcoast, Julia challenged us to use corner punches.

Why don't I reach for these very often?
I don't know...I'm thankful for the push though!

Here's the card I did using Sandra Kuck's, Christmas Angel,
available tomorrow at Cornish Heritage Farms.

She's colored with Copic markers with highlights using Inkssentials white gel pen, Stardust gel pen, and Souffle white pen.
For the sentiment, I embossed with gold embossing powder, then went around the edge with my Krylon Gold Leafing pen.

The card is 4.5x4.5. The paper is from the Christmas Stack by DCWV. Spellbinders Nestabilities made my cirle, scalloped circle and scalloped oval. And see that beautiful corner punch?! Yeah, "so use it more often", I need to tell myself!
The bow was tied then heated with my heat tool...*tip* hold center of bow with a clothespin so you don't burn your fingers. (don't worry, I didn't)

So, that's what I did today...besides putting up some Christmas lights! I know, it's the beginning of November, too early to think about that! But the weather was too perfect and this way I won't be doing it in sub-zero temps, fighting with my gloves, lights and wire ties!! LOL!

Thanks for stopping!

oh...my...gosh - this is just simply GORGEOUS!!!!! she looks Heaven-sent!

and thanks for the tip about heating the ribbon. I've just used the point of my scissors in the past. and I also know it doesn't take much heat to make the ribbon age. yep, one more in the long list of 'ask me how I know'!! ;)
