It's Been One Year!!.......This Means BLOG CANDY!

Wooohoooo! I was able to go to Amber's and upload a card!! um...that's a hint.
So, keep reading........

Thanks for making it a great year!!
I had planned on a Blog Candy celebration today.
It's still going to happen...just not at the moment I thought

Long story short...
(I'm on the dinosaur laptop right now...I'm going crazy)
we got a new computer...
Lloyd is trying to get everything transferred from the old one and install programs.... like PHOTOSHOP which I need badly

So, keep checking!!
I still might make it sometime today

Also, the girls are doing some great stuff with Paint Dabbers (and they're on sale at CHF!!)

Ok...so, here's my card using Kim's MochaChica paper and her MochaChica stamp set.

I painted the Grungeboard with Willow Paint Dabber, stamped Spanish Script then went around the edges with a Pearl Dabber. The little birdie was stamped on the MochaChica paper twice, cut out and popped up (extra wing cut out and attached at the body only), colored the beak and feet with a Copic marker.
The heart in the sentiment has Liquid Pearls on it.

Now....tell me what you love about Fall. It's my favorite time of year! I love the colors, the smells...the chill in the air! I'll give you about a week, then I'll do the random number generator thingy.
Some lucky person will win..................a MochaChica set!

Thanks for stopping!!

Dawn

Hey, Dawnie, congrats on your anniversary! What great blog candy - I don't have this set yet (hint, hint!!!)!!

What do I love about fall? First of all, I love that it is not 100+ degrees anymore! Hahaha. I love the crisp cool breeze and the migration of all the birdies in the air. I love the falling leaves, and the changing colors on the trees. Just today I saw some bushes where one half of the leaves are red, and the other ones are still green. I love the brilliant pink hued sunsets we have been seeing in the evenings on our back porch. I love fall!!!

Happy Anniversary, Dawn!

Fall, to me, is the time of the autumnal rainbow....only instead of being in the sky, this rainbow falls to our feet in the flurry of leaves Mother Nature colors. Being a tree/leaf person....it is MY time of year......and can we talk about the crispness of the air??? So fresh, so clean, and the sky is often at its bluest. Only one thing about Fall I don't like.......that it is followed by winter......although those snowflakes are awfully pretty when they fall.......

Anyhoo...have a wonderful blog anniversary.

Happy Blog Anniversary, Dawn! I just started mine a few weeks ago. It is actually really fun!
I love this cute card you made. Love the colors and stamps, and your great layout. You are so talented!
What I love about fall hands down are the bright red maples and how they look against the evergreens on a bright sunny day. I love nothing more than going for a walk in the woods and smelling the cool crisp air. And nothing else would go better in my tummy at this time of year than a farm fresh Cortland apple, my favorite!
Thanks for your offer of blog candy!

Congrats Dawn!

What I love about fall is the colorful leaves skittering down the street in the wind. Here is Arizona, I just like the fact that it isn't 100 degrees anymore! lol

Congratulations on your one year!
My favorite thing about fall is the new crispness in the air, and especially all the colors of the leaves on the trees.

Congratulations on 365 days of fabulous blogging. I love the diversity of your blog - but, mostly, I wanna come and live with you! Llamas, dogs, tree frogs, PEACH trees, apple trees - such cool things, Dawn - one day, I shall appear on your door step (I love peaches best) - oh, and I forgot the berries too! Luv ya, GF!

Fall colors, cool crisp air, wonderful sleeping, kids back in school, leaves russling under our feet, Halloween - I love Fall - my fav time of year - the only problem is what follows, but we gotta take the bad with the good! Like they say, "Any day above ground is a good day", but a Fall day is glorious! Again, congrats on your one year anniversary!

Oh - it's gotta be the leaves - not just the beauty but also the way they crunch when you walk through them. Raking huge piles for the kids to jump in. Then the smell when you burn them. Awwwww Fall!! It's magical
