The Cornish Heritage CHA team minus Michele who'd already left :(
Where to start? Oh my...well, Amber and I drove up to Chicago, about 5 1/2hrs. We got to the Convention Center right when the Copic Certification Class was getting out. This was the start of hugging and "oh, you're tall.." or "you're shorter than I thought" LOL!
From there I helped with the other girls in setting up the Cornish Heritage booth. Richard is a sweetheart. I could listen to him talk all day!
There was a glass cage where I found Mona Lisa and Becky (who appears to be growling!) CHA hadn't even started yet and they were already in TIME OUT!!From there I helped with the other girls in setting up the Cornish Heritage booth. Richard is a sweetheart. I could listen to him talk all day!
Not really! They were setting up the Thomas display in the children's project display case.
We finally left for dinner going on 9PM my time...almost 12 hrs from when I'd had breakfast! *shock*
It so happened that Becky's birthday was coming up soon...someone who shall remain nameless told the waitress, who at the end of our dinner brought out this beautiful piece of cake with candles. Bek was totally shocked which made it all the more fun!! (you can read a little more to the story on Julie's blog *wink* LOL) After dinner, Ellen Hutson met with us CHF girls to give us some coloring tips. She is so genuine, such a sweetheart!! Trudee came in with her gang as we were finishing up so we got the 3-some shot.
A funny happening, another someone who shall remain nameless but her initials are Sharon Johnson and she goes by 'notimetostamp'... I'd seen her on Thursday, hollered at her and went to give her a hug..........she had NO clue who I was until she looked at my name tag!! And to top it off, she recognized Amber right off the bat! So I didn't let her forget it the entire time....and I didn't ever get a picture of the two of us together!! *frown*
Friday I worked a shift in the booth and walked around in awe trying not to look like the country mouse in the big city!
That evening was the Splitcoast get together where I got to meet some dear online friends and put real live, breathing bodies with the names I've known for a few years! Many more I met but just didn't get the chance to have a picture taken with them *another frown*

Carolyn King aka Cammie (not such a brat...LOL... pretty and petite ...yes...I hate her!)
Joan Ervin aka..um...Joan Ervin (I felt so TALL! .... Holly, you have a sweet Mama!)I didn't even know Susan aka Rainy was going to be there! Sweetness!
and who could resist getting their picture taken with Jenn Balcer!! what a sweetheart!
oh Trudee Woodee! it was so good to see her!!! I love her!You chat with people online, but you don't really get to know them until you're with them. Julie Campbell takes her cupcakes seriously.........when she's hungry, don't get in her way!!
Joan doing a fabulous make & take at Chatter Box
Mr. Cuttlebug had me laughing!!
Can you believe this?!! The Rusty Pickle had this gynormous chocolate fountain with marshmallows, pretzels, cookies and candy!
ugh, that carpet was getting nasty though!
aren't these gorgeous!
this was Kaiser Craft, all kits to put together and embellish, yummy!
I just thought this color scheme at Colorbok was so pretty!
Is this not the coolest organizer from Making Memories!!
Oh, yes, this is my work area...yeah, right....in my dreams!!
Hopefully tomorrow I'll add the Make&Takes I did and few shots of Chicago downtown.
Thanks for stopping by!
