This used a full sheet of Prism Prismatic cardstock, intense teal, scored in 3 equal segments (approx. 2 3/4"). I then put this piece at an angle on the wavy score line and cut away the upper portion. Using another piece of Prism, frosted teal, I scored it using the wavy line to match the inside I was putting it in and cut away the upper portion. Scored again on the wavy line just below the first. I also turned the inside panel, with the flower, over and scored again so the lines matched (being scored out instead of in) when the card is finished.
Inking up the Single Coneflower by Cornish Heritage Farms with Ranger Black Soot, I stamped on the folded front so the upper portion of the flower was on the second panel...then using my stampamajig, I stamped it again on the inside. I also made the stem a little longer with an artist pen.
I had to paint the front with some gesso because the prismacolor pencils weren't showing up! Plus it still needed that 'split negative' look to it. The inside is colored with copics.
Adding another piece of the frosted teal to the back panel, the ribbon and my sentiment from Kim Hughe's, Silhouette Blooms finished off this unique 'Concertina' card.
