What Would You Do With Glossy?

Well, the Chicks from the Farm are going to show you what they did with Glossy Paper.
Kristine~Mona Lisa ~Julia ~Kim ~Sherrie

You can play along too, here's Julia's post.

I did two examples, Polished Stone and Soot Stamping...with a sneak peek too!!I put several drops of Adirondack Alcohol inks(Wild Plum, Butterscotch, Stream and Lettuce) on my
applicator and pounced over the Glossy paper. Then I added some Blending Solution so the inks would spread.

I actually did about 4 different pieces, nothing was really working for me, my mojo was nil! Just so you know, not every time I start out does it end up something I'd show you!! LOL

Anyhoo, I stamped Victorian Floral backgrounder in Jet Black Stazon over the Polished Stone. Script Essential Expressions 'birthday wishes' is stamped on the Offray ribbon.

Man, I wish you could see this in person! This is the Soot on Glossy. It's really cool, but the color just didn't show in the photo!

I lightly put some soot on the Glossy by holding it over a kerosene lamp with the flame up high in order to create soot. Then I stamped Thomas Kinkade's The Light of Peace with Jet Black Stazon and this cool new word from Mona's line, Big Inspiration! (being released the 12th)

Back at the lamp I added a lot more soot! A LOT more! That's why I wish you could see it!!

I then took Small Seagulls and stamped without ink, this lifts the soot from the Glossy! How cool is that!

Gave it quick spray of Krylon Clear Sealer (or your soot will smudge!), trimmed it up and popped it up. A quick, really cool looking card (if you could see it in person!! LOL)
Hmmmm....keep checking the CHF gallery, maybe I'll try to take a better pic an upload it there *wink*.

thanks for stopping by!
