A cheery Hello and welcome to the post where we review the June release from Our Daily Bread designs!
Here is what I used for my samples today
I wanted my first sample to be a masculine one. I started with kraft and the Sunburst Background die. It makes an awesome background for so many different looks!
I stamped the verse from Good Man and cut it with Vintage Flourish Pattern. I used the Pennant set to cut the Vintage Ephemera paper, the cut freehand the mats. After matting each pennant, I cut them in half to elongate them.
And the inside
Just for fun I did another one because these happy sunshines are just too cute!!
Same background die, Sunburst Background, but look at the difference when the paper is stamped! This is Chalkboard Vine Background stamped in Adirondack Shell Pink. I stamped the quote twice so I could cut out the two words and highlight them with one of the same Copics used to color the sun. I used my MISTI to stamp the quote in yellow and black. The little sunburst from the die is just behind the quote along with the smallest die from Vintage Flourish Pattern (which is cut in half to elongate). Behind that is one of the Beautiful Borders.
I stamped the sun, from Sunshine Blessings, twice so I could have the ‘sun face’ to pop up, colored with Copics and hand cut.

I have to share something my 9 year old granddaughter made. She wanted to make a card and as I was busy, I told her she could go up to the “stamp room” and make something. I had no idea what she had done until later when I went up after she had gone!
LOL….she just picked cardstock scraps out of my trash.
I thought her sun was so cute, and outlined in silver pen!
Clever idea!
Awwww…. how sweet is that!

Oh my goodness Dawn that note from Leah is the most precious thing ever! Reminds me of my children that constantly go into Mommys craftroom looking for what they 'can' use. Love her adorable Sunshine song message that is so very sweet and special. Your cards are lovely. Such fun uses of the stamps and dies.
I am always amazed at the different ways you use the stamps and dies, Dawn...love the way you elongated the pennants and the use of the chalkboard vine background is just beautiful! It looks to me like creativity runs in the family! Leah's creation is just adorable!
These are super, Dawn! Love the color combo w/ the sunny card..your pink/white bg is wonderful. And I love the kraft/black combo on the other. The flags look super behind the scripture. Your DGD is sooooo sweet!
Beautiful projects Dawn! And I love your granddaughter's project!
