Christmas in…ODBD October Release!

It’s not too early to start your Christmas cards! Welcome to the ODBD October release! The design team has been busy creating all sorts of wonderful things, you’re going to LOVE this release!
Prize Information: Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $15 gift certificate to the ODBD Store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards! You have until October 2, 2014 at 9:00 p.m. EDT to leave your comments on the ODBD Blog or the Participating Designers Blogs for a chance to win!  The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on October 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!
All the info can also be found here
My first card uses the beautiful Noel Ornament, embossed in gold, Matting Circles and the gorgeous Peaceful Poinsettias dies, along with dies from Fancy Foliage and Circle Ornaments. The Matting Circles coordinate with Circle Ornaments, making them a must have! I just love the Christmas Collection paper too, so perfect for mixing and matching!
All of the dies cuts were embossed, showing all that wonderful detail! I sponged the leaves, poinsettia centers and the flowers with ink to make that embossing pop. When it was all done I gave it a healthy spritz of Glimmer Mist!

If my card looks a little different than the one on the ODBD blog, it’s because I forgot to add the bow! It got buried on my table….does that ever happen to you?!

My next card uses a set that I think will be so versatile, God’s Timing.

I embossed the clock and hands and sponged with ink. The Matting Circles and Circle Ornaments were used for the clock, hands and base. The verse is on Vintage Flourish Pattern. Leaves Background just seemed the perfect background too!

I knew I’d saved that old necklace chain for a reason!

I hope you’ve enjoyed my post sharing this release as much as I did creating the samples!!
Just wait till you see what my sister sticks have for you!!

Without being overly gushy, I love, love, love this card!! I never can put together this sort of design. My imagination was lost in the delivery room when I had my children! I think a maternity nurse stole it! But no problem, I can just come back to you blog and get refreshed!! Thank you and Merry Christmas!!
