So, I needed a guy card for a friend’s birthday tomorrow. He’s an ‘outdoors’ type of guy that builds the best (and biggest) bonfires!!! And, being Wednesday means Sketch Challenge on Splitcoast!
Voila! Quick and simple guy card, perfect for my friend! I used North Coast Creations Happy Camper, this month’s release. The trees are stamped, masked and colored with Copics. The fire and marshmallow stick are also colored with Copics, hand cut and popped up. I used my cloud template and another one I use for mountains or hills, just a piece of torn copy paper.
I think he’ll like it!
But, wait, you say… you don’t see any llamas on the card!! Nope… that’s a totally different part of this post.
We’ve started our 4H season and the kids are anxious to work with the animals. Last evening we took a nice walk into town. It probably ends up being about a 2 mile walk when we’re all done. Nice!
We always stop at the park and use the playground for an obstacle course. I always tell the kids to get the llamas/alpacas used to everything because you never know when you might encounter something at a nursing home visit or something similar or at a show in the show ring!
We always get lots of cars slowing down or stopping, kids running from their yards or out of the house to see and pet the animals…. and ask questions! It’s good for the 4H kids too, keeps them on their toes!
Weaving in and out of the swings…
Everybody has to Jump something
….and go Under something!
Then we hit the streets….
… and down through the main part of town!
Rudy finished off the meeting by being treated to dandelions from baby Daniel….lol! Little Daniel had no clue, he’s only 3 months old, but it was so cute as mom would put one in his little fist and Rudy would ever so gently grab it!
Ahh….
llamas and kids…
gotta love ‘em!
Thanks for stopping by!
