I found out that some visiting friends were celebrating their anniversary while here!
I had to make a card, right?!
And you know how much I LOVE Fall and Fall color, so I HAD to make a fitting card!
I LOVE how it turned out, almost didn’t want to give it to them!!! LOL
To start, I stamped the Maple and Oak leaves from Autumn Blessings on white cardstock and sponged with Distress inks:Crushed Olive, Wild Honey, Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade. Then cut them out using ODBD custom die, Fall Leaves and Acorn. After removing them from the die, I crumpled them some to give a more realistic look.
For the textured background, I embossed only the Quatrefoil Pattern die.
My leafy spray is atop Spellbinders Lotus, sponged with Crushed Olive and Walnut Stain. I tucked the verse from Scripture Collection 10, stamped to the edge of Opulent Ovals and sponged into the spray. And finishing off with some chocolaty leaves from Fancy Foliage! {I just LOVE that die set!!}
So far, Fall is beautiful here in Ohio…. fabulous weather and the leaves starting to show color. Ahhh…
Hope it’s beautiful wherever
you might be!
Thanks for stopping!!
