I love all the seasons, but Fall has to be my favorite. The colors, the crispness in the air, the crunch of the leaves under your feet…. ahhhhh
This is a card I made this card for the sketch challenge of Splitcoast.
I started out by swiping several colors of Distress ink on my craft sheet (you could use a page protector etc), spritzed with water so the ink beaded up, then drug my white cardstock through the inks until I got the desired look.
Then I crumpled up the paper to give the leaves some texture, flattened it out and let dry before stamping {Autumn Blessings} and die cutting custom {Fall Leaves and Acorn} the leaves. These are 2 new items just released yesterday from Our Daily Bread designs!
Backing up just a bit…before I die cut the leaves, I embossed the stamped sheet with clear embossing powder.
Each leaf is joined at the stem with a dot of glue, then popped up with a dimensional.
Stop by ODBD and see the October release!
Enjoy your day wherever you may be!
Thanks for stopping!!
