The View From a Restaurant Window…

In my dreams!

The Waves on the Sea, Cathedral Window-Marble, Cathedral Window Die, Our Daily Bread designs

Can’t you just imagine sitting at a restaurant by the sea, looking out the window as a fishing boat comes in to dock!! I can almost smell the salty air and hear those seagulls!

{right clicking on a picture will bring it up larger in another window for your viewing pleasure}

This is ODBD The Waves on the Sea, colored with Copics and white gel pen, clouds sponged with my homemade cloud template using Distress Dried Marigold and Tumbled Glass.

I cut the panes out of the Cathedral Window and Border Die to make it look like a regular window, leaving the top to show the ‘clear’ cracked glass and more sponged clouds.

For the embossed background, I inked (Adirondack Latte and Juniper) my Victoria folder (on the ‘name’ side) and ran it through the Cuttlebug and stitched on the sewing machine.
I did the same for the Cathedral Window frame.

The final touch to the window was filling in the top with Crackle Accents and the main part with Glossy Accents…. and letting it dry overnight.

I love how it turned out!! A few Martha punched leaves and some flowers…and done!

Ahhhh…some day!

Thanks for stopping!
