I see little leaves pushing up through the frozen ground…won’t be long!
I’m sharing a couple of projects with you today, both are the result of several challenges on Splitcoast, the Color, Technique, and Sketch! {the technique- dry emboss patterned paper and sand}
I haven’t done a pot with flowers in a long time and these Crocus worked perfectly!
I used both new sets from Our Daily Bread designs, Let the Earth Rejoice and Earth’s Gladdest Day. For a change, I colored them with Prismacolor pencils, blended with baby oil and added some Flower Soft to the centers. I hand cut each image which really didn’t take all that long!
The ‘pot’ is Bo Bunny embossed with the Victoria folder and cut with Spellbinders Labels 12. For filler I stuck in some Cheery Lynn Designs Fanciful and Tropical Flourishes. I sandwiched another piece of cardstock to the back of the pot with thin strips of mounting foam so the ‘tag’ could easily slide in and out.

Without realizing it… my sketch card qualifies for the color challenge too! It wasn’t until I was uploading here that it hit me… I was just looking for ‘Springy’ dp when I made the card!
This little lamb from The Shepherd is so fun to color! This time, Copics and cloud template sponged with Distress inks. The DP is Bo Bunny Ambrosia, Spellbinders Lattice Rectangles, embossing folders Swiss Dots and SU Square Lattice.
Hope I’ve inspired you with these!!
Thanks for stopping!

Stunning cards. They make me long for Spring. We planted bulbs this year for the first time in ages (in pots though) wonder if they'll make it. :-)
