Our Sassy Challenge today is from the sassy mind of ME….scary, I know!! I decided to make it a Sketch!
Play along and you could be a winner of 2 FREE Sassy Cheryl digis!
Two of my grandsons were born on the same day, one year apart…Benjamin turned 10 and Gabriel turned 9 on the 9th! So, I killed to cards with one sketch and Noah!
This is Noah and His Tire Swing, perfect for the boys! I printed 4, colored 2 with Copics and just the branch of the other 2 to pop up later after it was all assembled. I took my black Copic around the edges of each piece.
I layered my pieces according to the sketch, adhering only the first 2 pcs permanently, using a 2 way glue pen for the image. Using my homemade cloud template and Distress ink, and masking the image, I sponged the clouds. Then I popped up the image and popped up the extra branch.
The 3 leaves are from an EK Success punch.
Spellbinders Petite Ovals.
Corner rounder for the other pieces.
The sentiment is from ODBD Be Joyful.
Hahahahaha… I just noticed I left off the horizontal strip at the bottom… but, uh, no…. I meant to do that, yeah… I meant to… the sentiment is there for part of it! Ah..gotta love stamping….

Dawn, got to this creation, and my mouth dropped open in awe and wonder. These are incredible. Do you have a tut on the cloud template?
Oh and I love a sketch, so thanks.
Really adorable, Dawn! Great sketch and this sweet little scene is perfect.
Oh Dawn, I love how this turned out! It is very striking to have the CAS look with the drawn lines around the shapes, it really makes this little image pop right off the page.
I was wondering about your strip across the bottom though... NOT... hee hee.. just had to pick on you a bit!
thanks for the fun sketch. they seem to intimidate me just a bit, don't know why, they are supposed to take the guess work out of the card design. I just need to go with the flow..
this was a fun one though!
hugs to ya
Judy
Dawn, I love the way you created the whole image to be the same for all layers, very cool. Ha Ha Ha about forgetting the bottom strip...although it was intentional ;) artistic expression at its best of course. Gorgeous as always GF.

I absolutely love your idea to bring background on different layers. It looks awesome. Stunning card.
Happy B-day Benjamin and Gabriel. These are adorable and they are going to LOVE them! You rock!
