Several years ago when I visited my brother in Montana, I saw scenes just like my project today!
I used yesterday’s Sketch Challenge and today’s Ways to Use It (something relating to back to school)on Splitcoast.
This is ODBD Bookmarks Eagle and Trees and Bookmark Verses. The Bookmark is removable.
It’s stamped in Colorbox Chalk ink, Dark Moss and Prussian Blue, then I airbrushed the background with Copics and sponged the edges with Distress ink, Forest Moss, Faded Jeans. I stamped the eagle again, this time with Espresso, cut it out and popped it up.
Sandee, one of my DT sisters, did a bookmark with this quote cut apart and I loved it…so I had to try it!
Part of the horizontal bookmark from Trees, cut down to fit with the Spellbinders Custom Bookmark Die. I also stamped the eagle separately, cut it out and popped it up.
Do white pop-dots bother you? They do me, especially when they’re in a spot that you’ll see them! Easy fix… color with a marker!
Hope I’ve inspired you to do something just a little different today!
Thanks for stopping!
Dawn

Such a beautfiul card. The scene you created is awesome. The natural feel to the background is perfect. Thanks for the hint about coloring the popdots. I am bothered when I see the "white" of them. I keep hearing about black ones, but never saw them in the stores....I will try coloring mine next time..Thanks.
Oh this is a gorgeous creation Dawn! Love the way you staged the photo too! Beautiful coloring of the scene and love the sentiment cut apart! Gorgeous!!!
