I had the pleasure of working the Adventures in Stamping show with Kelley and the crew over the weekend! It’s always fun, but the highlight of this show… Becca was going to be there demoing her Bow Maker!!! I’ve known her for a few years (online), I was so tickled I finally got to meet her! What a sweetheart!!!

KellBeccaMe1

I had a card made before going up for the show but wasn’t sure I wanted to use it for the hop. On my way home I stopped to stretch my legs, and walked around a Goodwill for a bit… I found this frame and couldn’t wait to get home to put my project together!

HRFrame 2resz

I used Happy Retirement and Count the Waves.
{don’t forget, you can right click on a picture to view it larger in another window}

The frame was meant to stand up, but I thought it worked perfectly sideways! This image colors up so quickly, I just sponged the edges of the sentiments with Distress inks and popped it all in! I lightly sanded the frame to distress it and added some Mudd Puddles sand and shells and a twine sailor’s knot. All done in about 30minutes!!

HRFrame crp

The breadsticks have done some awesome things with this release… now it’s time to hop to Julie’s and be amazed!

Thanks for stopping!

Dawn
