Blossom Happiness

Yesterday I played around a bit with this new 3-D set from Flower Soft, Oriental Blossoms. I’m not a real Asian fan (no pun intended!), but this set is really beautiful! I also used one of the new colors, Old Rose… gorgeous!

I cut this particular image with Spellbinders Petite Ovals, using the largest, then tracing the same one and hand cutting for my mat.  {It also had 4 fans in the corners that I cut out and placed on the inside of my card.} I cut out the extra pieces {body, arm/fan} and popped them up, making my 3-D effect. I love the new Old Rose color too! Doesn’t it just make those cherry blossoms pop!

These images come with lots of extras to add to your project. I just chose to cut out the Happiness Fan and pop it up over the oval.
