Our Sassy Challenge
this week is this inspiration.
Don’t forget, you can play along too, you don’t have to use a Sassy Cheryl’s…
you could be a winner!
Keeping with the PINK theme for October, here’s how I was inspired!
This is Autumn Bench Sitter and couldn’t be anymore perfect for the weather and leaf color around my neck of the woods! Isn’t she cute!!
She’s colored with Copics, some white gel pen for highlights and some Polar White Flower Soft on her hat!
The background was done by selecting some of the leaves in PSE7 and making a half sheet of “leafy” paper! I colored them with Copics, went over each with a Versamarker, clear embossed, then sponged some Distress inks over the leaves, wiping with a paper towel to remove any ink… emboss resist!
I used Spellbinders Labels 15 which was, I thought, close to the plates in the picture!
For lots more “inspired” inspiration…lol… check out the rest of the Sassy gals

LOVE the flower soft on her hat. Super beautiful Dawn. She's a preppy little think with the pink and green.
LOVE IT!
LOVE this, Dawn! Your creations are always over the top perfection. I literally study them before stepping back to just appreciate them!
Hi Dawn~
You sure used the inspirational photo well on your card. And, this poor girl looks rather chilly in the wind! Look at that pink face! I love the leaves! However, I have no idea what a "VersaMarker" is, and what it does. Would you mind letting me know when/if you get a chance? This is an adorable card!

Great card, soft colors and great coloring!
Dawn, love the challenge, even if I messed it up, Your little gal is just adorable and I love the dp you created with the leaves. Honestly I really felt bad I messed up the challenge but didn't have time to make another card as my daughter came up for the week-end...but I know you still lovessss me :)
For some reason the card is cut off, but what I can see looks oh so incredible. Your colouring always makes me sigh with wonder. I can't believe how you got those leaves to look so real & gorgeous.
Fantastic card Dawn!! I love the squares of leaf paper you made and your coloring is awesome. Love it when you high light with your white gel pen. ~jeni :)
Wow what a great idea for the leaves. Heat embossing resist. Very effective results.
