There are daily challenges and many prizes given away by the many generous sponsors. You can even win one of the 5 $50 gift certificates to the ODBD store!!
ODBD will be donating a portion of the proceeds from sales of this new stamps set to the American Cancer Society.
To further support this cause, Our Daily Bread designs released a brand new stamp set, "Praying For A Cure" on October 15th. A portion of the proceeds from sales of this new stamp set sold during October will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
This is such a lovely set, Praying for a Cure.
I made a Side Spring Card from this tutorial on Splitcoast, using Basic Grey Sweet Threads, Fence Border Die, Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Squares, Squares and Ovals, Scor-buddy (perfect for the tutorial!), Zva pearls and Victoria embossing folder.
And the inside
Here is a very quick and simple one.
I used Colorbox Chalk Rouge ink to color my layers and stamp the images. I also used Serve the Lord with it’s matching Crocheted Circle Die…perfect with this set! I also used Spellbinders Fancy Tags II, Circles and Petite Scallop Circles.
Be sure to see the amazing creations from the rest of the Breadsticks…
Visit each of the ladies below, leave a comment for each, and return to the ODBD blog post to let us know that you have visited them all. There will be three commenters selected to win a $20 gift certificate each from Our Daily Bread designs. You have until Thursday, October 27 8pm EDT to leave your comments. Beautiful cards and like Angella said very creative. Love the bling.
Both cards are beautiful Dawn! I love the designs, especially the top one! I have not had time to play with that style yet but it's on my list of "one day".... Beautifully done!

Two fabulous cards....viewing the first makes me feel peaceful, like I am sitting in the garden praying. Uplifting and lovely. Second, while simpler is stunning with the lace crochet circle die. TFS
Love the design of the first and the simple elegance of the second! Two beauties, Dawn!
Both are stunning.
Your first card gives a sense of being in a garden - lots of peace!! Your"simple" card has lots of impact - love that you used the crocheted circle for this - just beautiful!
WOW, Dawn, you are the most creative person I know!!! Love the side spring card...such a beautiful design and that second card.....oh my word, what a fabulous idea to pair the ribbon with the crochet circle stamp....LOVE it! TFS these beauties!! Hugs and blessings, Sabrina

Beautiful embossed cards. That side spring card blows me away. But I love both of them.
What gorgeous cards Dawn!! Love the spring design of the first and the simple elegance of the second with the embossing and the pink which pops against the white.

2 beautiful examples for us. Thanks for sharing! - Brenda T
What beautiful and love-filled cards, Dawn. I love how the first card makes me feel like I am sitting in a garden. The fence is wonderful. I love this set. The butterfly is so unique with the ribbon shaped body. I love all of the pearls you used as flourishes on this card. And, how true-- "All things are possible with God!" That includes a cure to cancer!
I was really drawn to the other card, also. I loved that doily shape around the circle of words and the ribbon. I love the color technique you used...so soft...so feminine. The leaves EF is so pretty for a bg, and that butterfly is such a sign of hope. It is also a sign of freedom to me. It could be a freedom from cancer for someone!
He IS Able!

Pretty cards---thank you for sharing them. I had to click and explore just what exactly a "side spring card" might be, as I wasn't familiar with the term. Thanks--Jennifer in Ohio
