The sketch today on Splitcoast is a simple one, I ended up doing 2! One is a little more involved and one is CAS (clean and simple)!
Our Daily Bread designs Sew Special, Spool Tag Set and Tag die, colored with Copics and sponged with Distress inks. Faux stitching on the “faux stitching” on the tag and faux stitching on the top layer.
************************
Sew Special, Rocking Chair die, Scrolly Borders and just “Friendship” from Sewn With Love. I paper pieced the quilt with some yummy Prima Madeline. I just love that Madeline! (that’s the base too!)
The Scrolly Borders are hand cut. Cheery Lynn Designs Border Carnivale is the strip under the chair.
Same sketch…. 2 different looks!
I just learned how to make a blinkie.. is it annoying or do you like it? LOL

These are breathtakingly lovely, Dahlink. I'm crazy for the perfect simplicity of your 'sew thankful' card. LOVE the softness of the distressing & the colours. And the second one with that paper-pieced quilt WOWee it's pretty! Hope you're headed for the loveliest weekend. We're on the island spending quality time with C's Dad. He's been so sick, but actually got some sleep last night & is starting to feel better. We're hoping it lasts and lasts! Hugs,
Both cards are lovely in their own way. Whilst I love CAS cards, I really like the detail in your second card. As you know, I have a fondness for all things "quilty."
