Saturday started the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges, on Splitcoast, always a fun time!! I might hear the sirens from the “challenge police” on this one as I combined…. 9…. nine of the challenges into one PLUS the Sketch Challenge for today too!
I’d had this idea rolling around in my head with this Spool & Tape set of wrapping thread around the spool since getting the stamps!
I made some holes on the sides of the spool and with needle and embroidery thread, wrapped it! That’s a real quilting needle stuck through too!
Sew…. here are the challenges (besides the sketch that I flipped sideways)
- Paint- I used watercolor crayons
- Kraft- Using Kraft paper
- Garden’s Bounty-I used Cosmo Cricket Garden Variety DP
- Hand Stitch- Stitched the strip with embroidery floss
- Distressing- With ink and tool
- Piercing- Well, I had to pierce the spool and strip to sew but I didn’t think that counted, pierced the circle
- Polka Dots- More Garden Variety DP
- What’s In A Name-Using products/techniques along with the letters in your name.

N eedle - Punch- Martha Stewart border punch
- there was one for decorating your envelope, but I forgot to do it!! LOL

Wowza Dawn! LOVE this one! That was a stroke of genius to weave the floss around the spool! I LOVE that punch too! So lacy!!! Gotta look for that one! Love this card! Have a great week!
