Wow...it's already time for another release from Our Daily Bread designs! If you came here from Angie's, then you're in the right place. If not, don't worry! You can go back to Our Daily Bread designs blog and view the hop order.
Here in the USA, this is a big holiday weekend and I know many are busy with company and family events, so we're going to keep the hop real simple! There are no secret words to collect, no email to send... just a fun blog hop!
Here is what you have to do to be eligible to win one of the prizes:
- Hop to each blog, leave a comment on each one.
- Return here to the ODBD blog and leave a comment telling us that you completed the hop and left everyone comments.
- If for any reason you cannot leave a comment, please give us the name/s of the designers you were unable to leave comments for... and you'll still be qualified for the drawing.
Here's the fun part! There are THREE prizes of WINNER'S CHOICE ONE FREE SET, but they are hidden on three different designer's blogs! You won't know who has the prizes!
The Blog Hop will run from 8am Eastern on Thursday, July1 through 8pm Eastern Friday July 2. At that time the three designers with the prizes will randomly select their winner from their commenters. They will check the ODBD blog post to be sure the person they draw has left their comment there, stating that they have completed the hop.... and then they will give Grace the name. The winners will be announced on Sat. the 3rd on the ODBD Blog!
Now, for my card!
The other day while driving we saw a beautiful wheat field and my hubby said, "That would make a good picture!". So, when we got back home, I grabbed my camera, went back and snapped a few shots! I had a plan you see... *wink*
These are the new sets....see the wheat?! Yeah, now you're getting my idea! O beautiful for spacious skies, for amber waves of grain....
I printed the wheat on regular cardstock and made my own designer paper!
I stamped the lyrics in Distress Black Soot and embossed in clear.
I also stamped the wheat on the envelope and inside of the card.
I hope you've enjoyed the hop thus far...be prepared to be amazed! The DT has some fantabulous projects to show you!! And I hope you're a lucky winner!!
Now, are you ready to be bedazzled by Kathy? Hop on over to her blog!
thanks for stopping!
Dawn

What a great idea for a card! Just gorgeous!
Your insight is amazing. I'm not sure that the field of wheat would have registered with me in that manner. I believe I may now be seeing things with different eyes.
Gorgeous.

What a neat idea-will have to try this! TFS!
Well, you know that I LOVE using photos on cards, and seeing them. Your wheatfield brings back memories of France. Funny - when I saw it I was thinking back to when I was in my teens, but now I think more, I can remember picking and eating grains of wheat on a walk with a dear friend's father in Brittany when we spent a weekend with him - and we fly over tomorrow to support the family at his funeral.
That punched strip and lace are the perfect embellishment. I like this so much - TFS.
Love the card. Thanks for the inspiration.
Love how you did your background. That opens so many possibilities. TFS! :)

Awesome! Love the creativity (and this new set!)
Oh what a nice card. I love the new sets. The Amber Waves of Grain, brought back childhood memories. Growing up we had beautiful Oats fields, but we hated them...we had to spend time in the HOT sun cutting out THISTLES. Now I have a different feel for that beauty.
Fabulous, Dawn! What a great idea; I thought it was dp. I don't think I have any wheat fields here. Not enough flat land and way too many trees.
Wow! I am so impressed. We just harvested our wheat last weekend. Awesome work!
Gosh you are so creative. The natural wheat in our photograph is a perfect setting for your verse. Congratualtions.
Kind Regards

Hi Dawn, I really like your card featuring the wheat. I was raised out West where wheat is one of the main crops, and often the fields of ripe grain are bordered by sunflowers growing along the edges. This card seems like a perfect fit to feature on your blog. Thanks for sharing.
