A Christmas Party Needs Table Decorations-Angels Landing

Dec16 PB blkMy last post as part of the Angels Landing DT...it's been great working with Judi's wonderful digital images, Judi, and the rest of the team!

We're going to a Christmas party on Saturday so I thought I'd help with the table decor and make these tag boxes.

Dec16 Penguin Boxes

I just love these cute penguins! Dec16 PB blk2

Start by cutting a piece of cardstock 4x7 and score as shown.
Cut notches as shown. Set aside.

Dec16 PB Scor-Pal

It's very easy to "clone" your images if you need to have a number of them printed at once. (at least in Photoshop Elements 7)

Dec16 PB 8 Penguins Make a new document 8.5 x 11 and pull your image onto it and size it. With your cursor over the image, hold down the Alt key while dragging the image over. Keep doing this until you have the desired number. Easy!

On these I used DCWV Christmas 12x12 stack, cut 3x6. The shipping tags are just over 3 x 6.25 inches, so I just added some white acrylic paint by Ranger.
Dec16 PB PaintDabberSince I cut the paper at 6 inches (was easy to make the most out of the 12x12), it leaves just a little tag showing, so I tore white cardstock to resemble snowdrifts and added them to the bottom of the tag.

Dec16 PB closeup gm   Can you see the shimmer?!
Each was given a spritz of Pearl Glimmer Mist

Dec16 PB copics and the colors used

Dec16 PB BoxTapeCut some more patterned paper 2x4 and apply as shown. I used red liner tape here so you could see where to apply your tape, glue or whatever adhesive you use.

Dec16 PB tag attach You're going to attach your tags like this.

Dec16 PB inside This is how the inside will go together.

Dec16 PB 8 Boxes 10 inches of ribbon is all you need to tie up this sweet treat box!

Hope you've enjoyed this little tutorial, I enjoyed putting it together for you! Be sure to see what the rest of the Design Team did.

Thanks for stopping!
