Stitches and Borders…on a Candle

Our Angels Landing challenge today was to use the Faux Stitched Borders and if we wanted, we could mix in some Seasonal Borders.

I chose to try my hand at printing on tissue paper*, coloring it with Copics, and using my heat tool to melt it onto a candle! (Gina has a good tutorial on StampTv)

I used the zig-zag faux stitches and just connected the dots with a fine tip marker. The snow flake seasonal border was perfect to go along with these adorable Penguin Chicks. I applied liquid appliqué and glitter foam after it was on the candle

Aren’t these guys just the cutest!!
