It's A Watercolor Challenge!

Our Chick's Challenge today is watercoloring. There are so many ways, watercolor pencils, watercolor cakes, watercolor sheets, smooshing (that's a technical term) the lid of your ink pad into your pad to pick up color.......you really have no excuse to not try it sometime *wink*

For mine, I used Adirondack reinkers and a waterbrush. I love to watercolor! I can't wait to see what the other girls did. Just click on their names to see.

Julia Kim Joanne Michele Jennifer Sherrie

I was soooo tired of Christmas cards or anything Wintery! So I did this...............

I actually started with the 3 Curved Rectangle Nestie pieces that were already stamped and leftover from some previous project...you know the pieces just sitting off to the side, that "one day I'll use that" pile! They just looked "out-doorsy" and seaside to me.
And of course you know I love to MAKE A SCENE! haha...get it? make a...er..uh...nevermind...

Beacon of Hope and the gull from Bird Sampler were my choices. And for my background on the card base............can I tell you how much I LOVE THIS NEW PICOTAGE PRINT!! Sneak Peek here *wink*, this will be available the end of the month. I stamped it in Hazelnut then sponged Tea Dye, Vintage Photo and Brushed Corduroy around the edges. Hmmmm, even those ink names fit my scene today!

I hope I've inspired you to try this technique, you're always welcome to join us on any of the challenges too!
