Pilgrim's Pie or Pumpkin Dump Cake

Either way you cut it, it's YUMMY!!

Thought I'd share a favorite, super easy recipe, you still have time to run out and get the ingredients and make it for Thanksgiving! And who doesn't need easy!

4 eggs
1 29oz can pumpkin
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves 1/2 tsp ginger
2 cups evaporated milk
dash of salt
Combine and put in a 9x13 ungreased baking dish

Sprinkle a yellow cake mix (no pudding variety) over mixture, then 1 cup chopped pecans. Drizzle 1 cup melted butter over top and bake 325* for approx. 1 1/2 hrs

Enjoy....and thanks for stopping!

This looks similar to my "Dump Cake".....combine 1 large can crushed pineapple (with juice) 1 can pie cheeries. Mix together in a 9x13 (is that the size????....I use my large casserole dish...tho I have made it in a smaller dish for new moms)...anyways!! Dump cake mix over the top (no pudding here either) and then thinly sliced pieces of butter. Bake at 350 for about 40-45 min (or until the top is slightly browned)....yummy!!
