Here is another image being released today at Cornish Heritage Farms, Asela's "Row of Trees".
I had stamped it the other day and thought of cherry blossoms and flowering trees, so tried to color it with that in mind. When Rox posted the sketch challenge on SCS it was perfect!
Then some of us girls were discussing 'tree' sentiments to go with the trees...one thing led to another and I was caught up in the Quote Garden.
I found this beautiful quote by Martin Luther.
The trees are colored with copic markers and daubered distress inks. This panel is the only one actually layered, the others are faux layered using a copic marker and a ruler.
After typing my quote in Word, I printed it on regular copy paper, lined up my piece of dp over the copy paper and lightly taped it in place. I stuck it back in the printer and voila! printed quote.
I'm sorry the colors aren't true to what the card is IRL...no matter what I did to it, I just couldn't get them right! Don't you just hate that!!
Oh, and the image panel is popped up on foam mounting tape.
